Batay sa ulat na iniulat ng report mula sa Al-Jazeera website noong nakaraang araw, with the notable rise in settler assaults on Al-Aqsa's courtyards at different intervals and under the support of Israeli occupation forces, their presence at the site has become a deliberate policy and a planned strategy.
The assault by settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque and their presence in its various courtyards increased significantly in 2025, and the Israeli regime, in an attempt to prevent worshippers from accessing the site, made several efforts to reduce their numbers as much as possible.
The support of the security and police forces of the Israeli regime for settlers during their assault on Al-Aqsa's courtyards indicates that the regime is attempting to impose a new reality and erase the Palestinian identity of this sacred place.
Israel, through this action, is trying to further dominate Palestinian holy and Islamic sites and, in this way, implement its policy of changing identity.
Al-Jazeera, by airing images of settlers' presence in Al-Aqsa's courtyards, added that these actions and the support of the Zionist police for them amount to a violation of all international laws and covenants, but there is no international pressure to stop them.
A Palestinian worshipper, in this regard, told Al-Jazeera's reporter: "The Palestinian Authority should intervene in this matter and, through diplomatic efforts, support the Palestinian Islamic sanctuaries and stop the desecration of them by settlers, especially as one of the main roots of the conflict between Palestinians and Israel is these sanctuaries."
Political analysts believe that the recent decision of the Zionist army to seize the inner compound of Ibrahim al-Khalil Mosque in Hebron is "the peak of a settlement project" and a step within a "systematic policy" aimed at achieving complete control over this sacred place.
This action demonstrates the expansion of a dangerous trend, going beyond the existing temporal and spatial division, and as part of a policy of "redesigning the Palestinian Islamic identity."
The multiple assaults on Ibrahim al-Khalil Mosque are part of a systematic Israeli policy that began, in broad outlines, before 1996, especially after the 1994 Ibrahim al-Khalil Mosque massacre, when occupiers used this massacre to seize control of the mosque and implement direct control policies.
